13.01.2017 — Tap Takeover im BRLO BRWHOUSE – Brussels Beer Project

1st Tap Takeover at BRLO BRWHOUSE – Brussels Beer Project

We hosted our first official tap takeover with Brussels Beer Project. In little over two years the Brussels Beer Project has firmly established itself as the poster child of new wave craft in Belgium. Producing everything from Oyster Stouts to Bread Bitters. Co-founder Sebastian joined us, the night before our grand opening, to showcase some of his awesome beer- some of it never before tasted on German shores. We got everything from their staple Baby Lone, a fantastic bitter made using recycled bread, to an experimental imperial stout from their barrel program.

20.02.2017 — Events

Here you will find a list of prior and upcoming events.

17.03.2017 — St. Patrick’s Day

The Brwhouse went green for a day as we celebrated our first ever St. Patrick’s Day!

There was free beer for all guests dressed in green, fantastic live music from our house folk-band St. Beaufort, an assortment of Irish craft beers alongside a selection of traditional Irish dishes (including the mighty Tayto sandwich).

A big thank you to all of our guests who celebrated this wonderful evening with us!

01.04.2017 — The White Hag- Tap Takeover

Ancient Irish Mythology will tell you that The White Hag was a witch, a chameleon creature and even Mother Nature herself.
Little under three years ago The White Hag burst on to the bustling Irish craft beer scene with a bang and have, in that time, firmly established themselves as one of the best breweries in the land. Based in the picturesque slice of earth Ballymote, the beers from the White Hag are certainly not as understated as their quaint slice of the Emerald Isle.

On Saturday, 1st of April, we hosted Mike and Bob from The White Hag as they took over our taps for the evening, we also man the Brwhouse kettles to produce a once off collaboration brew. Coming soon to a glass near you.

28.04.2017 — 40FT Brewery- Tap Takeover

A group of kitchen alchemists, whose Wednesday night ritual consisted of manning the tuns in the Greenwood brewery (aka the kitchen in their flat), with bottles of Brooklyn Lager in hand, and re-runs of Seinfeld airing in the background, had a chance encounter with a German brewmaster in their local one evening which would change the course of Greenwood brewery for good. The dream of Steve Ryan and his roommates Andreas and Fredrik had long been humble, to brew enough of their own beer to fill their fridge for friends, family, and themselves. With brewmaster Ben on board they would go one step bigger.

And so the fable goes. An Irishman, two Swedes, and a German walk into a bar. The result, one of London’s most unique and innovative microbreweries was founded.

40FT Brewery opened its doors on 1st May 2015 in a disused car park in Dalston, East London. The brew house and tap room are built in re purposed 40 foot shipping containers.

On April 28th we had the pleasure of hosting the 40FT brewery in house for a special tap takeover and collab event. There were beers gallore, and an obligatory BRLO campfire.

16.–17.06.2017 — BRLO BRWFEST 2017

Almost exactly one year ago, we moved the first used shipping containers to Gleisdreieck. Back then, it was difficult to imagine how to build a full brewery and a cozy BRWHOUSE out of these 38 containers. From our construction site Biergarten last summer to the official opening this January until today: we would like to celebrate our one year anniversary at Gleisdreieck. For the first BRLO BRWFEST, we are bringing together some of our favourite International breweries, as well as some of the up and coming breweries from Berlin.

Lets have a toast together with:

40FT (UK)
Edge Brewing (Spain)
Kinn Bryggeri (Norway)
The White Hag (Ireland)
Bevog (Austria)
Jopen (Netherlands)
Stu Mostow (Poland)
White Frontier (Switzerland)

Berlin Brwcomers
Fuerst Wiacek (16.6.)
Pirate Brew (17.6.)
Motel Beer (17.6.)
